Something happened to my last Blog and I was not able to access it anymore. I decided today that I wanted to start blogging again, mainly for me, so that I have a journal of sorts to leave to my family when I am no longer here. My life is very full so there are so many memories to recall. I am so blessed to have the opportunity to spend so much time with family. I cannot imagine what it would be like to not be able to share special moments with loved ones.
The highlights from 2012 begin by us going to California to visit family and to watch Marlon race and to celebrate his birthday.

It was so fun to see Matt Outhier and his family. It had been a long time since these boys had been together.
Before leaving California we just had to stop at the "happiest place on the earth" ~ non other than Disneyland!

Tim and Kim did not go with us to Disneyland as Kim was pregnant and they felt the need to get home. On May 29, 2012 our 9th grandchild, Kendall Marie Shirley was born. Another beautiful baby girl.

We celebrated July 4th at the cabin and had a surprise visit from Stacey, Scott and their family whom we had not seen in several years. It was nice to see them and for the kids to all get acquainted.

A couple of weeks later we went as a family to Lake Tahoe for another Shirley Family Reunion. It is one of our favorite places to go and we especially love the beaches of Sand Harbor!
